Verbund Green Power and Trinasolar have joined forces to sign a framework agreement for the procurement of solar photovoltaic modules.
The five-year agreement will guarantee a steady supply of high-performing modules for a large number of Verbund’s solar projects that will be soon nearing the construction phase in Italy and, mainly, Spain.
The company’s 2030 ‘Mission V’ corporate strategy is to significantly expand solar and wind power so that 25% of the group’s total generation will be produced from photovoltaic and onshore wind sources by the year 2030.
Currently, Verbund Green Power operates over 1.1GW of renewable energy assets throughout its key markets: Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Romania and Albania.
