RPower has signed its first long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in Romania for the supply of 357GWh of green energy.
The Polish company said the 2026-2036 contract marks an important step in its expansion into the European renewable energy market.
The new agreement with a local trading company secures the sale of green energy from RPower’s photovoltaic projects in Romania.
It covers an estimated 357GWh of renewable electricity over its duration.
RPower chief commercial officer Rafal Hajduk said: “Signing a PPA agreement in Romania is proof of the effectiveness of our business model in international markets.
“Romania is becoming an increasingly important market for us, and this agreement provides a solid foundation for further sustainable growth in the region.
“Our experience in the Polish market, where we are a leader in the photovoltaic sector, allows us to successfully implement similar projects in other European countries.”
