Floating PV developer SolarDuck has achieved ISO 9001 certification, the leading standard for quality management systems.
The company said the certification awarded by Bureau Veritas is another step in its ongoing journey of aiming for operational excellence.
It follows the Dutch-Norwegian company’s recent recognition through the EcoVadis certification, an assessment of how businesses perform on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
SolarDuck chief executive Koen Burgers said: “This certification is the result of true teamwork.
“It demonstrates the deep commitment of our people to building an organisation that continually improves, innovates, and delivers solutions of the highest standard to our customers and partners.”
Offshore solar is increasingly attracting interest both in the renewable energy sector and beyond.
SolarDuck is keen to serve these industries while positioning itself as an innovative partner.
The company said it remains dedicated to expanding the offshore solar energy frontier, and contributing to a more sustainable energy industry.
